Charlie Barry
Owner
Charlie Barry is a trial attorney and owner of Barry Trial Practice & Resolution, LLC. He represents seriously injured people in state and federal court. This entails investigation, discovery, examination of fact and expert witnesses, trial advocacy, negotiation, and mediation.
He founded this firm with one goal in mind – to lead, guide, and educate clients so that they can make better decisions and achieve results they never thought possible.
What makes Charlie a unique choice to handle your injury matter is that he has litigated cases on both sides of the “V.” He began trying cases for insurance companies and learning the defense playbook for an injury trial. Charlie was a Complex/Commercial Trial Attorney for Liberty Mutual Insurance, serving as in-house and field counsel. He represented Liberty Mutual Insurance and all its subsidiaries, as well as policy holders, for both personal and commercial lines. Charlie handled all litigation matters, including pre-suit investigation and legal opinions, pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial. He was also an associate in a national insurance defense firm, focused on defending tort claims for individuals, businesses, and insurers. These experiences gave him valuable insight into the insurance claims industry and its practices.
Client engagement is central to successful litigation, and Mr. Barry is committed to maintaining a high level of communication with his clients. He manages the client relationships transparently so that his clients can see how their interests are being served at every stage of the litigation process.
Charlie has recovered millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts for clients.
Charlie enjoys having fun in his spare time. He trains Brazilian Jiujitsu, dabbles in improv comedy, and absolutely crushes his wife’s honey-do list on a weekly basis which consists of yard work and fixing stuff. He has two awesome kids that he figures out ways to spend time and hang out with, whether that be by coaching their sports teams or something as simple as playing with them in the yard. His wife Malloree is the best person he knows. He is active in his community and church. He’s a regular guy and would be honored to represent you.

Katie Taylor is an of counsel attorney with Barry Trial Practice & Resolution, LLC. Ms. Taylor grew up in Marietta, Georgia and is a graduate of Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, where she received her Juris Doctorate.
Ms. Taylor is a versatile litigator, having served as a trial attorney with Liberty Mutual Insurance. This gives her firsthand insight into how insurance companies evaluate and defend bodily injury claims. She also was associated with Elder Law Firm, LLC, where she specialized in probate and estate planning, as well as personal injury law.
